I have known and loved the Vizsla since 1976. For years before this, Miniature Poodles were in my life and we participated in show and obedience. The similar temperament of the Poodle without the grooming drew me to the Vizsla.

I hope within these pages you are able to learn more about the breed's history, purpose, personality and it's special place in our lives. More importantly, I hope to give you an idea if you are the right person for the Vizsla breed. In a effort to provide further information for your search, I have provided links to other educational sites, medical issues, local and nationwide clubs, rescue organizations and our national parent club, The Vizsla Club of America, Inc.

Education is the key to understanding the Vizsla breed. Ethical and responsible breeders should be able to provide new owners with the education as well as breed their litters for the betterment of the breed. Careful attention must be paid to the health, temperament, standard of high quality, and retention of the natural hunting/pointing ability of the breed. Responsible breeders are the trusted keepers of this breed to maintain it as a Versatile Family Companion.

Within the pages of my site you will be introduced to the Vizslas which have shared their love and their accomplishments with us. You will also meet the litters which have been produced or sired by my dogs and read about their accomplishments.

My first love, CH Richey's Pretty Penny was only with us for 8 years, but she made such an impact on me I could think of no other breed to replace her. Thus our love for the Vizsla had begun. Others to follow in her steps were CH Victor's Star Attraction, CD, SH, VC (Beau) (deceased), an awesome one-of-a-kind boy. He taught us so much more about the heart, love and devotion of the breed and made us look good in the field with his sweetie big boy ability. Through him, many saw that a Vizsla could hunt as well as other more well known breeds.
